Guyra Day Care Respite
Guyra Home and Community Care Services (auspiced by Guyra Shire Council) offer a range of Day Care Respite Services to residents within the local community through funding provided by the Department of Aging, Disability and Home Care.
We offer Day Care Respite and support for clients and their carers. Guyra HACC services are located in the Guyra MPS building.
Hours: Wednesday 10am to 2pm
Transport: A door-to-door transport service (wheelchair access vehicle) can be provided to and from the MPS at a cost of $3.50 per person return. Cost: $1.00 per person covers morning tea. Lunch can be provided by Meals on Wheels or you can bring your own.
Activities: Various activities are hosted by HACC providing an opportunity for social interaction. These include: Arts and Craft, Cards, Outdoor Games, Musical entertainment and Regular Outings.
